I am a lifetime Arizonian, and was appointed by the Governor to complete the term of former Clerk Juanita Mann, who retired from office on December 31, 2009. I have been an employee of the Navajo County Clerk of Superior Court for 12 years.
I started with the Clerk’s Office in July of 1998 as a payment clerk and advanced to a Superior Courtroom Clerk and then Courtroom Clerk Supervisor before moving into administration.
In January 2009, I was appointed by Juanita Mann as Chief Deputy Clerk and was responsible for a staff of 23 employees. I oversaw the operation of the Clerk’s Office in Juanita Mann's absence, including making critical decisions regarding the functionality of the Clerk’s Office. I was also responsible for all facets of implementation of a new case management system for the Superior Court.
I was appointed as Clerk of the Court by the Governor upon Juanita Mann's recommendation.
